Lowes Petroleum is providing a fully funded traineeship to a student to start building their career and to begin earning money to set up their future.
In your first year you will:
- be supported in gaining your car licence
- complete a defensive driving course
- attain forklift experience towards your ticket
- receive nationally recognised units of competencies towards a qualification
- undertake rotational experience across business areas.
From here, you can select your area of interest and move into a wide range of areas including driving, mechanical and depot operations.
While completing your driving traineeship you will also undertake heavy and dangerous good licenses, undertake heavy vehicle defensive driving, attain a Certificate III in Driving Operations and receive your forklift ticket. You will be working towards gaining your
multi-combination licence.
As part of a depot operations traineeship you will gain experience in yard operation, equipment maintenance and be supported in obtaining your provisional and open licenses. You will also obtain your forklift ticket, heavy vehicle licence and achieve a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Logistics Management.
During a mechanical traineeship you will gain experience working on the latest technology and equipment and you will gain your trade qualification, a Certificate III in Diesel Fitting.
This job will give you the opportunities to travel and work throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
